When I caught the Superhumanoids' show this past Monday at Johnny Brenda's, I wasn't really sure what to expect. I knew nothing about them, and the group (signed to Innovative Leisure) has kind of been keeping a low profile on the East Coast so far. I listened to a few of their tracks online before the gig, and I liked what I heard, but I didn't know how well that was going to translate into a live set. If anything, I think I was expecting the Superhumanoids to be a bit amateurish, given that their debut album hasn't even been released yet.
